Sakura Temple Garden
A Japanese temple compound inside a plaster-and-tile wall. A torii gate and a lantern-lined stone path lead to the main hall on a raised stone platform with a wooden veranda, a double hip roof of dark tiles with gold ridge ornaments, and a five-wide open entrance. Inside: a coffered ceiling, a two-step altar dais with a seated golden statue, candles, sutra shelves, tatami and a red runner, an offering box and hanging lanterns. Side doors open onto the veranda. Around the hall: a bell pavilion, a covered purification basin, a pond with a stone causeway to a small island with a cherry tree and lantern, a raked zen garden with rocks, a bench, and about 20 cherry blossom trees with fallen petals. The grass, gravel and pond floor belong to the garden and sit in their own construction step. Size 53 x 24 x 57 blocks; the entrance faces south. Redstone, farms or mobs are not part of this build.
